Experience the BBC’s brand new multimedia broadcasting centre in the heart of London. Get a camera’s eye view via our big screen into some of the studios broadcasting to the nation such as the Six O’Clock News and Radio 1, as well as hearing about the rich history of the building and the BBC. You’ll see the new state of the art newsroom and have a chance to reading the news and weather on the interactive news set! Learn how BBC Radio Drama is made and have a go at making your very own radio play complete with music and sound effects! The BBC’s new home in the North of England is one of the most ambitious projects in the BBC’s history. The doors are now open so you can take a peek behind the scenes. It is now home to several BBC channels and programmes including Match Of The Day, Dragons’ Den, Blue Peter, BBC Breakfast, Radio 5 Live and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, to name just a few.
