Immerse yourself in a world of nostalgic country life and flamboyant Regency society on our Jane Austen Tour. This day tour escorts Jane Austen fans on a day trip to discover places which inspired Jane Austen herself, as well as seeing film locations that you may remember from small and big screen adaptations of her novels.

Departing from London we will bring you into the heart of the English countryside, and visit one of the most romantic churches in the country, the church where Elizabeth Bennett marries Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.

We will explore the idyllic village of Lacock in Wiltshire where you can enjoy a walk around Meryton village and the Assembly Hall from Pride and Prejudice. You’ll also be able to step into Highbury village where you can see Ford’s shop and Mr Elton’s House from Emma.

The Roman city of Bath attracts everybody who is anybody, so naturally we will take some time to visit the town which inspired Jane Austen to write Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. You’ll get to explore the town which is so familiar to us through these novels and follow in the steps of Catherine Morland and Anne Elliot and of course see where Jane Austen used to live.

Bath offers many interests to Jane Austen fans, including the Assembly Rooms, Pump Room, stunning Georgian architecture and Jane Austen Centre. To complete your day, you will be given the chance to explore Bath’s highlights at your leisure.
