“I took this tour with my son and nephew yesterday out of Glasgow. Our tour guide Gerry, picked us up at the port terminal as we were coming from a cruise ship for one day. The tour time posted on the website from 9-6 but our ship was leaving at 5:30pm so I asked if he could bring us back early. Not only did he assure me he would have us back in time, he also picked us up when the ship docked at 7am so we would not miss out on anything. Gerry was the perfect guide to this tour. He catered it around what was most important for me to see. He was extremely knowledgeable of not only the TV show but of the books as well. He had wonderful stories to tell about, the locations, scenes, behind the scenes info, but also of Scottish history facts and folklore. I was so impressed, when I get back home I am going to book another trip (not cruise) to Scotland and have Gerry show me more. Out of 5 stars I give this a solid 10. It’s worth every penny.
