Leeds Castle and Romantic Film Locations Tour
Enjoy a dreamy day out as we visit some of the most romantic movie locations in England. We’ll set off from central London and stop at the world famous Royal Naval College in Greenwich before heading down to see the stunning Leeds Castle in Kent. The guided tour will take you inside the castle and around the picturesque gardens and lake.
We’ll stop off at Groombridge Place which featured as Longbourn, the residence of the Bennets in the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley (Elizabeth Bennet). Here we will also enjoy lunch in its beautiful grounds.
After lunch we’ll step back in time once again and experience the magic of riding on an authentic Victorian steam railway and re-live some scenes from movies shot here such as Miss Potter with Renee Zellweger and A Room With a View.
Between locations we’ll see clips from the films, discover fascinating information about the places we visit and get trivia about your favourite romantic movie and their stars. During the location tour you’ll have lots of chances to get out, take pictures and see the places we visit up close.
Tour highlights include
- Fast Track entry to Leeds Castle, regarded as one of the most beautiful castles in England and featured in Elizabeth: Golden Age
- Pretend you are Elizabeth Bennet or Mr Darcy as we visit Groombridge Place, the location used as Longbourn from the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice
- Take a ride on the Bluebell Railway, a Victorian steam railway that was featured in Miss Potter and also A Room With a View
- Stop at The Royal Naval College to visit the Painted Hall where Father Gerald (Rowan Atkinson) muddles up the wedding vows in Four Weddings and a Funeral
- Take a stroll down the location used as Summer Street in A Room with A View
