JK Rowling, the author of the “Harry Potter” series has donated 10 million pounds to the University of Edinburgh to set up a MS clinic. The clinic, which will “focus on patient-based studies to help find treatments that could slow progression of the disease, working towards the eventual aim of stopping and reversing it,” will be called the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic.

Our friends over at Mugglenet first reported it, and now it can be confirmed that a test screening for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ has taken place in Chicago, with WB president Alan Horn and Director David Yates in attendance to gain initial reactions from the audience.

The official “Harry Potter: Spells” app for iPhone/iPod touch is now available for free download from the iTunes store. The free version comes with a variety of spells, with additional “Spell Packs” available for purchase. UPDATE: The “Harry Potter: Spells” sweepstakes are now live, with a chance to win an iPod touch.
