Last week rumors started to circle the news rounds that “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” would be released in 3D, we can now confirm these reports to be true.

Tom Felton discusses Draco’s ‘weird love/hate relationship’ with Harry

In a new interview, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), discusses the bond that his character has with Harry and explains that they have a “love/hate relationship.” Tom, who is shortly to begin filming “The Apparition” in Berlin, will return for the end of shooting on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” in the coming weeks.

London Film Day

On 21st March London sees the launch of its first ever Film Day. Launched in association with the Mayor of London and Film London it is designed to promote the experience of cinema across the capital and give people the chance to take part in free workshops, such as storyboarding and storytelling at each of the participating venues.

‘HBP’ garners two BAFTA nominations

The 2010 British Academy Film Awards nominations have been announced and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has garnered two nods for production design and visual effects.

A new report has found it’s way online indicating that Warner Brothers plans to buy the famous Leavesden Studios after “Harry Potter” filming is complete. Possible plans for the studios include having it as a main hub of post-production for WB’s films in Europe, as well as a possible tourists attraction. WB has confirmed these plans through their official twitter account. Update: WB has released an official statement about their planned acquisition.

It has been confirmed that french composer Alexandre Desplat will be scoring the music for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1.” Mr. Desplat recently scored soundtracks for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” “Julie & Julia” and “The Queen.”

The new biopic of the late English singer and lyricist Ian Dury, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, was released on Friday 8th January. Starring Andy Serkis (you may know him as Gollum in Lord of the Rings) as the lead singer of the Blockheads who was famous during and after the punk era for his song writing poetry and word play as well as being a colourful character in his own right.
