Achieving record breaking viewing figures the Netflix Series Bridgerton has already won over many fans and with a second series in the pipeline fans of the show have much to look forward to.
The show has filmed at numerous locations across England including stately homes and Georgian Streets in Bath and we will focus on 2 of these gems.
Departing from central London and travelling by traditional London Black Taxi, your Bridgerton Full Day Tour will provide you with an insight into the making of the show and uncover stories behind some of the places that you will visit on the tour. The first location that you visit is about 100 miles out of London and (depending on traffic) the journey lasts about 2 hours.
On arrival at Wilton House which has been the home to the Earl and Countess of Pembroke for more than 400 years, you will be given the background and history of this stunning property. From here you will be given a guided tour of how this wonderful locations featured as Simons London House, Clyvedons dining room, London’s Hyde Park, Lady Danbury’s home, Buckingham House and other on-screen locations. Its a real treat for fans of the show.
Your guide will also give you the option to have lunch here or if you prefer you can eat at the next location – the city of Bath. From Wilton House you will take a drive lasting approximately one hour to Bath.
The Georgian city of Bath stood in for many London locations. The city has previously featured in many period dramas including Jane Austen’s Persuasion, Vanity Fair with Reece Witherspoon and The Duchess with Keira Knightley.
When you arrive in Bath your guide will take you on a gentle walking tour of the city where you will get to visit up to 10 locations used in the show. The walk will be at a leisurely pace so you have plenty of time to take photos and soak up the atmosphere of this wonderful regency city. The walking tour will include Gunter’s Tea Shop, Lady Dee’s Hat Emporium, the home of Lady Danbury and much more.
The private Bridgerton Full Day Tour finishes back in central London where you can be taken back to your Zone 1 hotel.
