The Downton Abbey Locations Tour was AMAZING! My tour guides were fantastic and knowledgeable. They were even filming an episode of Downton when we visited the village! If you love Downton Abbey, this is a “Must Do” Tour!

“I loved it and would give it a 5/5. Tim was superb in his first Downton Abbey role and all loved his Maggie Smith imitation. Enjoyed watching dvds again on way up and back. Hadn’t realised we were going via Bampton so that was great bonus. Highclere great but my highlight was the garden. Far more interesting flower beds and trees than other places I’ve been in last month. I have no suggestions for improving the tour. Had a great day! ”

“I am a big fan of Downton Abbey and was delighted to find this trip. The Brit Movie Tour was great value for money. We were picked up by our very attentive and knowledgable guide Tim and were chauffeured in a luxury mini coach. A group of 14 people made it a very intimate and personal affair. The special treat was to visit the tiny village Bampton (while watching episodes of Downton Abbey), where we were shown all the locations used in the TV programme for the village shots. Tim had movie stills and explained how the film crew made changes to some of the houses. We then drove on to Highclere Castle and had time to explore the inside (with a special leaflet explaining what the rooms have been used for in the series) and gorgeous grounds. 8.5 hours of amazing TV insight and beautiful countryside. A+ for organisation and entertainment!”
