Come and spend an afternoon with us on our Houses of Parliament and Harry Potter walking tour. This tour is packed with many of London’s famous landmarks and as the name suggests, the tour celebrates two very British icons: Harry Potter and the Houses of Parliament. At the end of the 2 hour walking tour, you’ll get a rare chance to step inside and take a self-guided tour of the Houses of Parliament – one of the most filmed buildings in the country where the muggle government meet!

The tour starts at the foot of the Shard – the tallest building in Western Europe. Your expert tour guide and Harry Potter enthusiast will then take you to the world famous Borough Market to show you where scenes from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban were filmed. You’ll take a stroll along the South Bank, passing more of London’s prominent landmarks including the Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern and Millennium Bridge – watch out for Death Eaters!

Throughout the tour you’ll discover quirky facts about London and hear fascinating anecdotes about the making of both the Harry Potter movies and the Fantastic Beasts series. You’ll also get the chance to take photographs of Harry Potter film locations from several of the movies, including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows among others.

The last location on the Harry Potter walking tour is the Houses of Parliament, also known as the Palace of Westminster, this is where your guide will leave you. Once you’ve shown your ticket and passed through security, you’ll have the chance to take a well-earned break inside Parliament before you start exploring again!

Once you’re refreshed and raring to go again, you can collect your audio guide and take a self-guided Houses of Parliament tour where you’ll see the Medieval Westminster Hall, the Sovereign’s Throne and the House of Commons, where the muggle prime minister argues with the opposition!

The self-guided audio tour is available in various languages, plus there’s an entertaining children’s version of the tour available (currently only in English).

During the self-guided Houses of Parliament tour, you have the freedom to go as fast or as slow as you please, although the tour usually takes between 60 – 75 minutes.
