We offer the chance for proactive and motivated individuals to gain valuable work experience within the tourism sector.
- The position is unpaid / voluntary (except for expenses incurred as part of the role)
- The position is flexible, but priority will be given to individuals who are reliable and have good availability on Wednesday – Sunday (inclusive)
- You will be given the opportunity to learn about social networking sites including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media, posting on relevant blogs. If you prove to be proficient on social media you could become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
- You will be given the opportunity to shadow tours
- You will be given the opportunity to gain experience taking photos and video footage of tours and shown how these can be used for training, marketing and social media purposes.
- You will be trained on how to update websites, and given the chance to use this new knowledge on both Brit Movie Tours and Brit Icon Tours websites
- You will be given the opportunity to gain research experience
- You will get an inside view of managing a tour company with the potential to put forward your own input and thoughts.
- You will receive a reference letter stating all of the skills that you used and learned.
