Rated 4.6 out of 5 based on 203 Feefo user ratings.

Doctor Who first appeared on UK TV screens on the 23rd November 1963, and since then has been shown across the globe, celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2023, and is officially the longest running sci-fi show in television history.

Now with additional behind-the-scenes stories from the 60th Anniversary specials, it’s time to park the TARDIS and go for a stroll through London, walking in the footsteps of everyones favourite two-hearted Time Lord. Fingers crossed for no Dalek invasions.

On this 2 ½ hour walking tour, with a professional guide leading the way, you will get to explore iconic London locations and landmarks that have been featured in the “New-Who” episodes, from
2005 to present day, as well as some select episodes from “Classic Who”. So whether your favourite Doctor is William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, David Tennant or Matt Smith, there is something for everyone on this tour.

Locations include:

  • UNIT headquarters from “The Christmas Invasion”, “The Star Beast” and “The Giggle”.
  • The steps of St Paul’s Cathedral where the Cybermen marched in “Dark Water” and “Death in Heaven”.
  • The crash site of the Slitheen ship in “Aliens of London”.
  • Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, where the Carrionite witches wreaked havoc in 1599.
  • Trafalgar Square where the TARDIS was air-lifted in “The Day of the Doctor”.
  • The Shard, Miss Kizlet’s offices in “The Bells of St John”.

This tour goes ahead, come rain, shine or Cybermen attack so be prepared with comfortable shoes and an umbrella. Feel free to come dressed as your favourite Doctor, or wearing your most loved
Doctor Who T-shirt, and have fun re-creating your favourite scenes in a memorable photo. As part of the tour, you will take a short bus journey, so you will need either a Zone 1 Travelcard, a
valid Oyster card, or a Contactless Credit/Debit Card per person. The tour finishes on the Embankment by the Houses of Parliament and the River Thames.
Afterwards, feel free to explore more Doctor Who related opportunities – just ask your guide. Please also note:
