Downton Abbey Tour of Locations

Become Lord or Lady Grantham for the day as we visit the film locations used for ITV’s popular period drama on a Downton Abbey Tour of Locations.

On this day long Downton Abbey Tour of Locations you will travel by luxury mini coach from London to visit the charming Oxfordshire village that was used as Downton Village and explore Highclere Castle and its beautiful grounds that was used as the main Downton Abbey set. Learn about the 1000 year history of Highclere Castle and life ‘above and below stairs’.

Food for lunch can be purchased at Highclere Castle or you can bring your own lunch and enjoy it in the beautiful grounds.

You’ll be able to wander around the estate run by fictional character Lord Grantham. Visit the ‘Above Stairs’ area of Downton Abbey where you will be able to imagine life as it was over 100 years ago and enter the world of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants.

Get fascinating anecdotes about how the ITV series was made, the actors involved and the wonderful history of the places we visit on the tour.
