I’ve been with Brit Movie Tours since the very beginning, and guiding the Sherlock Holmes tour is a real joy as Holmes has been one of my favourite subjects since school, when I read all 56 short stories and four novels in a single year. With a background as an actor, presenter, cruise director, cabaret act, musician and author, I treat every tour as a performance, bringing the stories to life in an engaging and entertaining way. I also have a passion for WW2 history, having visited sites such as the D Day beaches and Pearl Harbor, and I enjoy mentoring young people looking to build a career in showbusiness. On one occasion, I was congratulated mid tour by Prince Charles (as he was then), who quietly praised my commentary before slipping away unnoticed.
