Our Story
Welcome to Brit Movie Tours, the original and market leading provider of movie and TV location tours in the UK. Founded in 2009 by Lewis Swan, the company was born out of his lifelong passion for films, particularly James Bond. As a fan, Lewis would visit iconic Bond locations with friends, and after moving from a career in business publishing, he seized the opportunity to build a business around his love for film tourism.
With his background in marketing and a desire to work for himself, Lewis launched Brit Movie Tours with a small team, including his parents helping to answer customer enquiries and distribute marketing materials along with his first guide Val. Since its founding, the company has grown significantly, now serving over 45,000 customers annually. Brit Movie Tours offers a wide range of walking, coach, taxi and self-guided walking tours, showcasing famous filming locations from James Bond, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, Gavin & Stacey and many others.
