“Bond. James Bond.”
Like all things Britain prides itself on, James Bond started with a book. In 1953, Ian Fleming published the first 007 novel “Casino Royale”, with great success. In the last 60+ years, Bond has stunned audiences by book and big screen, with the iconic Sean Connery debuting in 1962’s “Dr No”. Since then, Bond has been enjoyed by an audience of billions worldwide.
Now, discover what it takes to be the world’s most famous secret agent, as we take you on a sophisticated journey to uncover some of the London locations from the James Bond films, from ‘The Living Daylights’, to the latest ‘No Time to Die’.
As part of the tour, you will also get to learn about aspects of the British secret service, stories of Bond creator Ian Fleming’s life and discover where fantasy meets reality. Sites visited will include London’s oldest restaurant, the National Gallery, Whitehall, Mi5 and Mi6.
The tour will start at Charing Cross railway station, then course its way through Westminster, the beating heart of British politics and intrigue, filled with government buildings and secret bunkers, all with secrets to tell.
During the James Bond walking tour, you’ll get a chance to see many filming locations from the movies including Skyfall, Spectre, No Time to Die, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights and more. There will also be lots of opportunities to take pictures and see familiar locations up-close and personal.
As part of the James Bond Walking tour, there will be a short bus journey, so you will need an Oyster OR Travelcard (valid for Zone 1) before the start of the tour.
Please be prepared with comfortable shoes and maybe an umbrella, as our tours go ahead come rain or shine. The tour will conclude opposite the Mi6 building by the River Thames. From there, your guide will assist you further on what to do in London, how to continue your James Bond adventure, or where to get a good vodka martini – shaken, not stirred.
This tour complements both the Ian Fleming Tour via Brit Icon and the James Bond Coach Tour of London, as each covers different locations.
