Welcome to the Mr Bean Tour — a fun London Black Taxi adventure through South West London, starting and finishing at Sloane Square Station. You wont need to sit on top of a moving vehicle like Mr Bean himself. Instead you can sit back and enjoy four hours of fun and silliness.
You’ll travel in a classic London Black Taxi with a professional driver and a separate expert guide, leaving you free to enjoy the view and listen to the stories. Throughout the Mr Bean Tour, your guide links each location directly to the episode in which it appeared, bringing the silent comedy of Mr Bean vividly back to life.
Your journey begins at the park featured in Mr. Bean Goes to Town, where Mr Bean politely asks a passer-by to take his photograph… only for the camera to be stolen moments later.
Next, the Mr Bean Tour rolls on to the department store seen in Do It Yourself, Mr Bean, a location forever associated with Mr Bean’s uniquely flawed approach to shopping and self-improvement. From there, you’ll visit the school used in Back to School, Mr Bean, where adult education collides head-on with childlike logic and social misunderstanding.
You’ll then pass the location used in the show’s iconic Intro, where Mr Bean quite literally falls from the sky, deposited onto a London pavement as if the universe itself didn’t know what else to do with him. Shortly after, you’ll see where Mr Bean stops to watch a busker at the start of The Return of Mr Bean.
The next stop on the Mr Bean Tour is the dentist location from The Trouble with Mr Bean, where Mr Bean parks his beloved mini and bumps someone’s three-wheeler out the way. Along the way, your guide will also point out the former home of Teddington Studio which was used to film interior studio scenes.
Festive confusion awaits at the site of the Christmas Fayre from Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean, complete with brass bands playing cheerful carols while Mr Bean quietly disrupts seasonal goodwill. Nearby, you’ll see the town centre streets where he famously chases his runaway shoe, turning an everyday problem into an unnecessarily physical ordeal from Mr. Bean Goes to Town.
The tour concludes with the exterior of Mr Bean’s home, as seen in The Trouble with Mr Bean, used in the TV series.
By the time you return to Sloane Square, you won’t just have visited filming locations — you’ll have experienced London the Mr Bean way.
