About This Tour

  • Tour description

The Doctor Who Cardiff Bay Walking Tour is a must for fans of the long-running British science fiction series. This guided walking tour explores the waterfront area that became the production base for Doctor Who when the show returned to television in 2005. Since then the area has appeared in numerous episodes and has become one of the most recognisable filming locations in the Whoniverse.

This tour complements the Doctor Who Cardiff City Tour which runs earlier in the day at 11am. Book both and get a 25% discount on the Ultimate combo Tour ticket.

Dr Who tour I brought this expirience for my dad for father's day and it was very informative about Dr Who and Tourchwood. The guide was very knowledgeable and took us to loads for different locations in Cardiff Bay. The guide even talked to us about some of the history in Cardiff Bay.

A perfect day out in Cardiff I went on both the Cardiff City and Cardiff Bay tours and I loved them both so much. Our guide was so engaging and knowledgeable, giving us lots of behind the scenes titbits. I had such a great day and recommend this to anyone even vaguely interesting in Doctor Who

A great Doctor Who tour The guide, Richard, was a real Doctor Who fan and he had also had small parts in the series himself. He showed us many sites and had a photo from the actutal episode as a reference. He also told some Cardiff history which we much appreciated.

Perfect for any Doctor Who fan (and supportive friends/family) Fantastic walking tour! Our tour guide, Richard, was wonderful - he was super friendly and knowledgeable about all things Doctor Who and Cardiff Bay. We got to see some Torchwood filming locations as well which was an added bonus. And when we got to Ianto's Shrine, there was some filming going on and Richard was kind enough to let us stay a bit longer so we could be part of it :) Highly recommend for any Doctor Who/Torchwood fan - even my partner, who has never watched an episode of Doctor Who in his life, enjoyed it :) Would recommend pairing this with the Cardiff City Centre tour in the morning.
