Clarkson’s Farm Tour

Our journey begins with a westward departure from London, heading toward Clarkson’s Farm and the picturesque Cotswolds. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is celebrated for its stunning landscapes, rich history as a former wool trade hub, and ongoing agricultural heritage.

Our first stop is Woodstock, a historic town on the edge of the Cotswolds. Once a royal forest frequented by English kings, Woodstock now neighbors Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. Take a moment to explore the charming streets and enjoy a brief rest.

We then venture into the heart of the Cotswolds, following narrow country lanes to Chadlington, a village featured prominently in Clarkson’s Farm. From there, we ascend to the famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop. While lengthy queues mean we won’t enter the shop, you’ll have time to snap photos, enjoy refreshments, and take in the surrounding countryside.

Next, we head to Hawkstone Brewery, introduced in Season 2 of Clarkson’s Farm. Established in 2021, this brewery is where the Hawkstone beer is crafted. Enjoy lunch from the on-site food truck and sample their locally brewed beers.

After lunch, we pass through Bourton-on-the-Water, a delightful village often called ‘The Venice of The Cotswolds,’ before continuing to Burford, known as the ‘Gateway to The Cotswolds.’ This historic market town, once central to the medieval wool trade, boasts one of England’s finest churches. Here, you’ll have time to explore and stretch your legs.

Our final stop is The Farmer’s Dog, Clarkson and his team’s newly transformed pub, formerly The Windmill. Relax with a drink while soaking up views of the surrounding countryside before we head back to London.

The tour concludes at Urban Baristas coffee shop, South Kensington, at approximately 5:30 PM.
