Prepare yourself for an intergalactic adventure and choose one of our private Doctor Who Cardiff Tours which visit locations where much of the show has been filmed since its return in 2005.

For more than 15 years, the production of Doctor Who has been based in Cardiff, the capital of Wales. With its diverse architecture and landscapes, Cardiff and South Wales have been a vital component in creating the amazing worlds that the famous Time Lord inhabits.

This private Doctor Who Cardiff tour is a great way to experience the Welsh capital and its neighbouring regions, as you visit areas of such as Cardiff Bay, St. Fagans National Museum of History, and the City of Llandaff where some of the most memorable Doctor Who locations are situated.

You will get a chance to wander through the village of Leadworth (Amy Pond’s hometown, featured in the first episode starring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor); visit Farringham village where a teacher named John Smith isn’t all that he seems; see the hospital featured in New Earth, as well as explore locations from more recent episodes featuring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor.

You will get to visit locations in Cardiff Bay, Llandaff and St. Fagans National Museum of History, as well as some other outlying areas of the Welsh capital. Locations include the hospital from New Earth, Clara’s house, Coal Hill school and much more.

Accompanied by your own driver, plus a knowledgeable Doctor Who guide, you will be able to see these locations easily and learn about Doctor Who as well as some Cardiff history.

On each of the tours, you’ll learn how the show is made and have the chance to get out of the vehicle on several occasions, stretch your legs, take pictures and see the locations up close. All tours include walking around Cardiff Bay to see where many of the filming locations can be found.

The tour will finish back in central Cardiff.
